Student Success: Intentional & Innovative Instruction
We will plan intentional, high quality core instruction, integrating and ensuring that state standards and Portrait of a Graduate attributes are provided to all students.
- Incorporating the Reading Workshop Model through job-embedded professional development and work within Collaborative Learning Teams (CLTs)
- Grade level teams and Specialists will develop innovative, inquiry-based learning experiences that foster curiosity and develop communication and collaboration skills. This will be implemented through PBL’s, AAP curriculum, class discussions, assessment, and hands-on learning.
Caring & Collaborative Culture
We will foster a responsive, caring and inclusive culture where our students, staff, and parents feel valued, supported and hopeful.
- Responsive Classroom practices will be explored and developed throughout the year in conjunction with Positivity Project. Specific components such as greeting, morning message, and morning meeting will be integrated each morning.
- Enhance communication and provide specific praise among students, staff, and families in our community.
