Spring Hill Staff Kicks Off the Year!
New and returning teachers are equally excited to return to the building this week and get the year started!
Last week, new teachers got the chance to meet each other, tour the building and receive an engaging orientation from Jenny Strandlund and Ashley Michaels, Spring Hill's new teacher mentors.
On Monday, all staff came together for a kick off event, which included breakfast and time to catch up. One comment heard repeatedly throughout the day was how the summer went by very quickly, but staff were excited to come back and reconnect with their colleagues. Spring Hill staff are some of the friendliest around! After breakfast, Principal Eck pumped teachers up by reminding them of the FCPS and Spring Hill goals for the year.
Teachers had time to collaborate and discuss ideas with their team before getting into their classrooms to begin setting everything up for the students' return during Open House on Thursday.
